I had a bad experience at Capital chevrolet now Stivers on clemson road by the way all the same people are there, so be warned! anyway all things for a reason. that led me to go a few extra miles to Wilson Chrysler Dodge. From the second my wife and I got there we were treated like family. Our salesman George was so nice. Right at the start we met Vern the Manager. George was right on top of our needs and my wife's wants and put us in what I would consider to be one of the best trucks I driven in a long time. with a great deal with all the incentives, and a great warranty for the life of the truck Wow!!! After several difficult dealings with local dealerships, we reached out to Dave at Wilson CJDR. He gave us a great deal and it was the easiest and most straightforward car buying experience I've ever had! It was well worth the hour long drive from Charlotte!
Had a Charger towed from Lexington to Winnsboro for collapsed plugs. They seemed to be very helpful and honest. They told me they would take care of everything. They told me the plugs had collapsed from contaminated fuel and it should be turned into my insurance company for vandalism. After several attempts my insurance company stopped returning my calls because they informed me it was regular ware on the motor. Wilson's insisted it was contaminated fuel and they kept reassuring this should be a claim for my insurance company. After 2 months nothing had been done to the vehicle except replacement of a passenger side airbag and a new gas tank both were on a recall. Once I had the vehicle towed to another shop I was informed the gas tank had never been hooked up it was just replaced. They should not have told me one thing and my insurance company something totally different. Very disappointed in the lack of honestly and service.
Everything about my buying experience here was wonderful! Vern and James were outstanding as they went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with our vehicle purchase. I especially loved the small-town feel of the dealership as everyone was so polite and helpful! From the contacts made before we went to the dealership to the finance to the final send off in our new car, everything and everyone was wonderful! This was definitely the best car buying experience that I have ever had!
Dave was extremely unknowledgeable about the vehicle we were looking at so that was no help. He was rude on top of that. Before asking us what we were planning on doing (trade-in, or money down) he already had a paper with a price telling us to sign. He also continued to contradict himself when he was telling us about how long the vehicle had been there and how they acquired the vehicle.
